edward burtynsky is yet another reason to go to canada. his photography is at the crossroads between what attracts and repels. somehow he makes he want to hang the gulf oil spill right in my living room. his work mainly looks at nature transformed through industry. i'm looking to get my hands on a copy of a recent documentary film about his work in china: manufactured landscapes.
The first picture is slightly more uplifting than the other two.
